Protecting the planet for us and our furry children is equally as important as manufacturing the highest quality products.
Superior product, sustainable methods
While we pride ourselves on the quality of our craftsmanship, we take the sustainability of our work equally as seriously. With rigorous quality control processes in place—and every piece hand-finished by skilful Australian jewellers—Richie Paws jewellery is manufactured to exacting measures, ensuring we exceed industry standards of production.
All Richie Paws gold and silver is solely sourced from an Australian refinery accredited by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), the Shanghai Gold Exchange (SGE) and COMEX. This means all Richie Paws precious metal materials are certified as responsibly sourced and all gold and silver production scrap is recycled internally. It also certifies that our diamonds and other gemstones are conflict free.
Our Sydney-based jewellery workshop is a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), which certifies we meet human rights, labour rights, health and safety, and product integrity standards by RJC’s code of practice.
Richie Paws operates as a minimal waste company. We supply to demand and do not hold an excess of goods. Our packaging is predominantly paper materials to reduce the need for plastic and other non-recyclables.
A passion for all things furry
Richie Paws is born into a world where pets are our children. The furry companions we love and nurture are as much a part of our family as all other beings in our households.
We embrace the special bond we have with our pets and recognise it to be as strong as those we form with other people. Our four-legged beloveds are much more than a source of fun—they are our confidants, comforters and most loyal friends. We believe they have all the credentials to make them a hero.
